The Vision Moving Forward – This Is The Life Podcast
As we approach six years of This Is The Life Podcast this coming June, it still feels a lot like sitting on that front porch, looking back at where the Lord has brought us from, and quietly listening for where He’s leading us next.
What started as a simple step of faith has become something far greater than we could have ever planned.
And yet, it still carries that same purpose. A place of peace, reflection, and drawing closer to Jesus Christ.
The vision moving forward is not as much about becoming Larger, as it is about becoming more impactful.
Every part of this ministry is being shaped with that same purpose in mind.
The website will continue to grow into more than just a place to visit, it is a quiet space filled with devotionals, podcast episodes, and simple truths that speak life into the middle of everyday moments.
Just steady encouragement that points your heart back to the Lord.
The outreach will continue in that same spirit. Whether it’s through each one of you sharing the Morning Moments message, or a conversation through our comments section, the goal has never been about numbers, it’s always been about connecting with people. One heart at a time. One reminder at a time that God sees you, God cares about you, and God is still working on your behalf.
The written resources, the books and daily Blogs, will carry that same front porch feel.
Pages that don’t just teach, but the Words feel like a conversation between you and the Lord.
Written as a gentle reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out… you just have to keep walking with Jesus everyday.
And then there’s the music. Every note, every melody, every lyric means something to me.
They are simply poems and devotions composed into music that is meant to slow things down and create that peaceful environment where your mind settles and your thoughts give way to the voice of the Lord.
It’s important to understand that this podcast is a separate expression from Sunrise Chapel.
Both are rooted in the same foundation, Jesus Christ, and I am proud and honored to be a part of both, but each has its own purpose and path.
This Is The Life is designed to meet people in places around the world right where they are at that moment, in the quiet spaces of their lives.
At the center of it all is this truth:
“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” — Proverbs 16:3
As we move forward, that is the prayer, to commit every episode, every word, every song, and every step into the Mighty Hands of Jesus.
Because when it’s built on Him, we simply have to remain faithful.
And if the Lord allows, this next season won’t just reach more people, it will reach deeper places in the hearts of those who listen.
A better life truly does start with a better you… and a better you always begins with Jesus.
