ENOUGH GRACE FOR YOU

More Than Enough Grace

Have you ever had days that seem to begin with a heaviness you can’t quite explain.

It may not be one big thing at all. Sometimes it’s just the weight of several little things that settled on your heart and mind over time.

Maybe it’s a burden for your family, or maybe it’s simply a tiredness that no amount of sleep can help.

There are mornings when your feet hit the floor, and before the day has even fully begun, your mind is already trying to solve things that only God can handle.

We all know what it feels like when we get ahead of grace, when the mind starts running miles down a road we were never meant to be on in the first place.

If we’re not careful, our thoughts can travel too far ahead of God’s plans.

We start trying to carry tomorrow’s weight with today’s strength, and that is always a burden too heavy for our shoulders.

But the Lord has such a great way of reminding us that we are only asked to live in the grace for this moment.

By the time this day ever reached you, His grace was already there.

That is one of the sweetest truths of the Christian life. God never asks us to create strength we do not have. He simply meets us right where we are, with exactly what the moment requires.

He knows your burden before you can even name it, the pain before we fully understand it, and the need before we ever speak it in prayer.

Listen to the Lord’s response to the Apostle Paul when he asked God to remove, what he called, his “Thorne in the flesh”.

2 Corinthians 12:9

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

I have found that some of the deepest moments with God come when I finally realize that I cannot fix what is in front of me.

It is in that surrendered place, when my heart grows quiet and my soul whispers, “Lord, I need You,” that’s when grace seems to draw the closest.

Sometimes the Lord seems to say, “You do not have to figure out the whole road today. Let Me be enough for where you are standing right now.”

There is always peace in that.

There is also freedom in knowing that God’s grace is not measured out by our ability, but by His faithfulness.

His supply is never hindered by our weakness.

In fact, weakness often becomes the very place where His strength feels like it has the greatest Power.

Hebrews 4:16

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

I love those words, grace to help.

Not grace for next month.

Not strength only for tomorrow.

Just enough for right now.

That is often how God works in our lives. He gives enough light for the next step, enough peace for the present burden, and enough assurance to trust Him with the parts we cannot yet see.

So if your heart feels heavy today, remember this:

Before the burden ever reached your mind, before the tears ever formed in your eyes, God’s grace was already enough for you.
