THE FINGERPRINTS OF GOD PT. 2
The Fingerprints of God – Part 2
The Hand That Guides Us
Isaiah 48:17
“Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”
When we think about the fingerprints of God on our lives, one of the greatest places we see them is in His guidance. God never intended for us to wander through life alone. From the very beginning, He has been leading, directing, and gently drawing people toward Himself.
In fact, the first and most important way God guides us is toward salvation.
Before we ever sought Him, He was reaching out to us. Through His Word, through the witness of others, through circumstances, and through the work of the Holy Spirit, God was drawing us to Jesus Christ. Looking back, many of us can see moments when the Lord was working behind the scenes long before we recognized His hand.
After salvation, His guidance doesn’t stop. It continues every day of our lives.
Sometimes His direction is obvious. A door opens, an opportunity appears, someone’s health improves unexpectedly or a clear answer comes through prayer.
But Other times His guidance is much quieter. It may come through a Scripture that speaks directly to our heart, a message that arrives at just the right time, or an inner peace that assures us we are headed in the right direction.
Has there been times when God’s guidance comes through closed doors. Maybe your disappointed when things don’t work out the way you planned, only to discover later that God was protecting you from something you could not see. What felt like a setback was actually His loving hand steering you toward something better.
As I look back over my own life, I can see the fingerprints of God in roads I never expected to travel. There were detours that became blessings, delays that became preparation, and challenges that strengthened my faith.
At the time, I didn’t always understand what God was doing, but now I can see that He never stopped guiding me.
The wonderful thing about God’s guidance is that He doesn’t require us to know everything about tomorrow. He simply asks us to trust Him today.
The hand that created us is the same hand that Saved us and leads us, and He knows exactly where He is taking us.
If you’re facing uncertainty today, take a moment to speak this truth:
“God is still guiding Me”.
Stay close to Him, Listen for His voice, and Follow His Word.
The fingerprints of God are always leading you, one step at a time.
