New Album Available — “From Where I Am”
I am excited to release a new album titled, “From Where I Am”.
So much of the heart behind this project flows from the spirit of “This Is The Life”.
Those front porch moments where faith meets everyday living… where we slow down, breathe in God’s goodness, reflect on where we’ve been, and look forward with hope to what lies ahead.
Midway through 2025, God woke me up with a thought that stayed with me all day. I realized there was still a part of my life still living in the shadows.
At the beginning of 2025, I had prayed a very simple prayer: “Lord, show me anything in my life that needs to improve.”
The theme last year if you remember was New Beginnings, and that morning, God answered in a way I didn’t expect.
He took me back to my childhood. To those days when I would sit alone in the woods under an old cedar tree, writing little thoughts, poems, and stories—letting my imagination run and finding peace in simple moments. As I remembered those times, something became clear.
God had given me a gift back then… and somewhere along the way, I had set it aside.
It was the gift of writing.
There was no big dramatic moment—just the quiet voice of God saying, “It’s time to use that gift again.” And I knew exactly what He meant.
Ephesians 1:3
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
John 15:16
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
The Album has very little to do with me, but rather what God desires to convey through me, and that is the same for you. It isn’t about self promotions, it’s about Illuminating what God is doing For Us, To Us, and yes even Through Us.
They are simply words and melodies set to music, meant to share what God is speaking.
And really, this isn’t just my story—it’s yours as well.
Whether we realize it or not, Sometimes a new beginning doesn’t mean starting over.
Sometimes it means picking back up what God placed in our hearts a long time ago.
