MIRACLE TO ME
Miracles To Me
When we hear the word miracle, our minds often think about the extraordinary, the seas parting, the blind seeing, the impossible suddenly becoming possible.
And God still does those things. But as I’ve walked with Him over the years, I’ve come to realize that many of His greatest miracles don’t make the headlines or shake the ground, They simply show up quietly in the ordinary moments of everyday life.
A while back I had a brother leave a comment on one of the devotion. I had mentioned the word Miracles, and he responded that “Only experience brings these kinds of Miracles”.
So the Lord prompted my thinking and I began to write some lyrics down about what Miracles were to me.
Psalms 68:19
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
Miracles are found in the morning light shining through the window at the same time before the world wakes up.
It’s the breath filling your lungs again today without you even having to think about it.
These are all gifts, simple, faithful reminders that God is near and at work, even when nothing feels dramatic.
A miracle can look like peace that settles your heart when the situation hasn’t changed. It can be strength to take one more step when you thought you were going to give up.
Sometimes it’s not the removal of the burden, but the grace to carry it without being crushed. That kind of miracle often goes unnoticed, but it is no less important.
I’ve seen miracles in conversations that healed old wounds, in forgiveness that softened hard places, and in joy returning after a long season of heartache.
I’ve seen the best miracles in children’s laughter, reaching for world without limitations, and in the quiet assurance that God hasn’t forgotten us, no matter how long the wait has been.
Scripture reminds us that God is faithful in the small things. He feeds the birds, clothes the lilies, and numbers every hair on our heads. If He is that attentive to the details, then surely nothing in our lives is too small for His care. What we often call “ordinary” is simply God being consistent.
Sometimes the miracle isn’t that everything turned out the way we hoped. Sometimes the miracle is that we’re still standing, still believing, still able to look up and say, “Thank You Lord for all your miracles.”
Gratitude has a way of opening our eyes. When we begin to notice God’s Hand in the everyday, we realize we’re surrounded by evidence that His Fingerprints are on everything we see.
So today, slow down. Pay attention. Look closely at the life you’re living. You may discover that the miracles you’ve been praying for have been right beside you all along.
To the world, they may seem small. But they are all, Miracles To Me.
